Footballllllllllll

Alright ladies the international break is over leaving us to gorge ourselves in some quality football. It's an important week this one, I've drawn Dawgsquad FC in The Perth Premiership.

+- Team W D L + Pts
1 Evenwood United 6 2 0 416 20
2 Dawgsquad FC 5 1 2 372 16
3 Average 5 1 2 371 16
4 Lawley FC 3 0 5 335 9
5 Ninja FC 3 0 5 318 9
6 Sahneh F.C 0 0 8 252 0

Dawgsquad, coached non other than Riley may prove to be a challenge but nothing my unbeaten Evenwood United can't handle. While I'm here I'd like to point out Kia's teams
fantastic record of 8 straight losses. Here's what to happen this week football wise.

  • For starters Hull city need to show us what they're made of when they take on Fulham on Monday because three of my players are Hullanders.
  • Van Persie scores a Hatrick against the mighty Birmingham. Van Persies my key striker now that Rooney's injured.
  • If it's not too much to ask I'd like Stoke City to keep a clean sheet against the out of form West Ham.
  • While I'm at it, Huddlestone and and Cahill can score Hatricks too.

That would reel in some tasty points for me but the main action is to be found at the stadium of shite where Liverpool take on scum dogs FC, AKA sunderland. Gerrard, Torres and Johnson are key to my Fantasy football team but that's irrelevant. I just want to see some crying mackams during the game. I'm hoping that game will finish 54 - 0 to Liverpool despite their shaky performances.

I leave you with a intellectual picture which accurately displays my feelings towards sunderland.

Get Involved.

Okay lets get straight down to business. Football season is nearly here (starts on the 8th for me but the 15th for everyone else.) So I want everyone to make a fantasy team. It'll be a good way to spark some football talk. Register, make your team and join the league with me and Henry in the code is 112813-77349, any troubles just ask, I'll sort them out quick smart.

Theres my team, click for better view.
I went fanboy in picking Gerrard and Torres but
Rooney and Tevez will pack heat throughout the season. Cahill, Shwatzer and Johnson
look good on paper but everyone else is dodgy (I ran out of money.) I'll definetly be making some changes before the season when my heads in the zone.

So come on hop to it I want to see teams from atleast Tonga, Kia, Riley

SSSSPPPPOOOORRRRTTTTSSSS

Jesus. To anyone who's ever said cricket is boring, suck my balls. Words cannot describe what's going on.

Not too long ago Australia needed 2 wickets to win the test. 2 wickets but a persistent thorn in our shoes was Paul Collingwood who would not give in. That is until Siddle teased him into a poor shot, caught by Hussey. Instantly I was on my feet cheering as if I was there. I even kissed the TV that's how much that wicket meant to me and Australia.

So now we needed 1 wicket in 20 minutes to win, they needed I think 7 runs to draw. I was more nervous than the players out there, I was pacing, chewing my nails, jumping up and down I didn't have a clue what was going on. Monty Panesar, test crickets worst batter survives his first ball with me on my feet as if I were fielding out there. Time was slipping away and here's where it went wrong. Siddle should have bowled. North wasn't the man for the job and Hauritz, who played well for the most of the match, was tired, Siddle was itching for wickets and I reckon he'd of got the job done. Non the less North and Hauritz bowled away and in the end scored the runs they needed and batted out the time aswell, in a match Australia dominated the best we could get was a draw. I will say one thing though that was some fantastic cricket. Fuck 20/20 tests are where it's at, it was fantastic to watch. Englands last partnership was pretty good too, it's always nice to see tailenders doing a good job with the bat and that's exactly what Monty and James Anderson did.

Monty Panesar somehow saves what little dignity England has.

Running at the same time as the cricket was Formula One which I quite enjoy. I managed to watch both by having the cricket playing on my phone and the formula one on my tele. Webber got 1st even after a drive through penalty which is pretty impressive, especially since it's his first ever win. Vettel got second. Button who I support got 5th I think, honestly I wasn't paying any attention the cricket took all the limelight.

Tonga is instantly my favourite person.

Cricket is the flavour of the month for me. On the 8th of August I will resume my old Football loving ways but for now I'm all about cricket. So when Tonga steps up to bat against the skilled Finn you can imagine everyones shock when he unleashes a reverse sweep. For 6. I don't get stunned often but that was impressive.

I'd love to stay and write some more but it looks like the Ashes are starting. This blog's probably going to be about cricket about a month but soon enough football will be back.
